Central Oregon Web Professionals' Usergroup (COWPU) was formed in October 2006. Recognizing that there was no general forum for professionals in the web industry, the first gathering was a "meet and greet". Our members now include developers, designers, SEO professionals, hobbyists, and marketers. Python, RoR, Coldfusion, mySQL, and PERL are just a few of the technologies used by our members.

High-tech, realty, and communications industries are represented. Several of our members are consultants, some telecommute, and others are employed with local businesses.
